Research Interests
Cognitive neuroscience, computational modeling, romantic attraction and mating behavior, sex differences, neural networks, data mining, machine learning, recommendation engines, political modeling.
Research Philosophy
Computational models of the brain offer some of the most fruitful methods for integrating diverse domains of knowledge about the human mind.
Contemporary brain modelers are fortunate enough to live during a flash flood of data from a surging array of disciplines:
cognitive science, brain imaging, primate studies, molecular biology, behavioral economics, psychophysics,
biological anthropology, evolutionary psychology, behavioral neuroendocrinology -- and the unprecedented digital ecology of millions
of minds interwoven on the Web.
Current Project
I am writing Rule 34 for Penguin with Sai Gaddam.
